The Overdrive sandwich J-cups are a great upgrade to our traditional J-cups offering more protection and practicality. They are built by sandwich bolting together two metal plates over a piece of UHMW plastic and having the edges left exposed all the way around. This design allows the sandwich cups to not only have UHMW lined on the inside but also outside and is great for protecting your barbell when the re-rack is too low.

The sandwich cups also benefit over traditional J-cups through its thin profile. Having thinner profile J-cups gives you additional wiggle room on both sides of the rack making it easier to re-rack the barbell without hitting the sleeve collars into the J-cups. Rated at 400kg, the Overdrive sandwich J-cups are a great alternative to protecting your barbell. Having a second set handy will make your training more convenient and efficient and is great to have when working out with a partner. Less time messing around with the J-cups means more time lifting.
